Flowers & Photography with Danielle Acken

Saturday, May 23

10am-1pm

$235 per student

Together with photographer Danielle Acken, we’ll explore how to create arrangements that feel dynamic and natural — and how to photograph them beautifully using simple tools and available light.

We’ll begin by designing seasonal arrangements in the studio, working with fresh, locally grown materials in soft spring palettes. Danielle will then guide us through photographing our work: how to use window light, compose thoughtfully, and capture the movement and texture of flowers in a way that feels honest and artful.

This workshop is ideal for florists, gardeners, creatives, and anyone who loves documenting their work — whether for Instagram, a small business, or simply for pleasure.

You’ll leave with:
– A garden-style arrangement you’ve created
– Practical tools for photographing flowers at home
– Confidence working with natural light
– Time for questions and one-on-one guidance

No professional camera required — iPhones are welcome.
