Wedding and event florals

from our farm-based studio

Inspired by places that stay with us long after we leave, we design florals with the hope they shape how your day is felt and remembered.

We work closely with clients to create palettes and arrangements attuned to season, scale, and setting. Our flowers are grown organically on Salt Spring and often supplemented with foraged elements from the island.

Whether you need full-service design or a few pieces for pick-up, we’d love to hear what you’re planning.

We first grew flowers on a tiny little farm in Indianola, Washington, where we were tasked with harvesting Bachelor’s buttons, yarrow, dahlias, and statice for market bouquets. Our first arrangements were shaky hand-tied bouquets, made in “six minutes or less” alongside other nervous apprentices. But we fell in love. Since then we’ve made many thousands of bouquets and spent more than 10 years doing event florals on Salt Spring and beyond.

We’re constantly refining what we grow, aiming for every variety to be uniquely beautiful in colour, texture, or fragrance. We’re always trying new things and looking for those one-of-a-kind blooms that take your breath away. The best part of our work is bringing that magic to you, through events inspired by season and place.

Story
Emphasis

Every flower we grow is carefully chosen for its unique qualities, whether that’s a hard-to-find colour, ephemeral fragrance, or exceptional vase life. We create arrangements with a sense of place, supplementing our flowers with foraged wild elements.

Our work highlights colour, texture, and natural forms, drawing inspiration from both the garden and the wild.

Values

All of our farm flowers are grown organically and designed naturally, without the use of floral foam or other additives. When necessary, we source responsibly grown flowers from other local farms and gardens.

It’s important to us that the floral branch of the farm contribute to the health and vitality of this place. We love to see birds enjoying the flower seed heads left to ripen, pollinators enjoying heirloom varieties, and hardworking farm staff inspired and enlivened by a particular variety. There is so much meaning and depth in flower work and we are grateful that shapes so much of what we do.

Kind words from our couples

The displays were nothing short of stunning. Even long after the event, the blooms stayed vibrant, a testament to the care and attention to detail that went into selecting them.

Steven + Carolyn

We have been to a LOT of weddings and have never seen anything quite like Molly & Zack's creations. They are true works of art (especially the installations!).

Melissa + Rob

I loved the attention to detail, the mixture of tones and textures. Everything turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined - I almost cried when I saw the bouquets.
