Learning and play for young farmers

Our farm school and camp programs invite kids to be creative, get dirty, and connect with each other.

Our programs are offered in collaboration with our non-profit, Neighbourhood Farm Schools.

  • Summer Farm Camp

From harvesting berries and feeding animals to woodworking and splatter paint art, the farm provides a playground for learning and growing. On the farm, kids can get dirty, be curious, get creative, make something new, and learn from other kids in a dynamic and safe setting.  For kids ages 6-10.

  • Young Cooks Supper Club

Young Cooks Supper Club is a four-week after-school series focused on building confidence in the kitchen while preparing simple, seasonal family meals.

Each week, students prepare dinner to bring home, including a simple, seasonal dessert. The kitchen is calm and collaborative, with an emphasis on building confidence through real responsibility.

  • Friday Farm School

Friday Farm School is an eight-week spring cohort rooted in the rhythms of spring on a small farm.

Each week, students spend their Fridays immersed in meaningful farm work — preparing beds, planting seeds, observing soil life, and learning how food systems function. Each day includes time in the field and farm kitchen, as well as space for reflection and creative work inspired by the season.

Farm-based learning builds confidence, cooperation, and sense of place. We want kids to see themselves as important members of their communities, both human and ecological.
