The Easter Table with Flower Shepherd

Saturday, May 23

Join us for the first studio workshop of the season. Together with Braiden Crouse of Flower Shepherd, we’ll explore how to build a spring table that feels generous, layered, and grounded in the garden.

Working with fresh, seasonal materials, we’ll focus on composition and movement—bringing flowers, linens, and candlelight together in a way that feels both relaxed and considered.

Each participant will create a centrepiece and contribute to a fully styled table celebrating spring’s arrival.

Flowers & Photography with Danielle Acken

Saturday, May 23

10am-1pm

$235 per student

Together with photographer Danielle Acken, we’ll explore how to create arrangements that feel dynamic and natural — and how to photograph them beautifully using simple tools and available light.

We’ll begin by designing seasonal arrangements in the studio, working with fresh, locally grown materials in soft spring palettes. Danielle will then guide us through photographing our work: how to use window light, compose thoughtfully, and capture the movement and texture of flowers in a way that feels honest and artful.

This workshop is ideal for florists, gardeners, creatives, and anyone who loves documenting their work — whether for Instagram, a small business, or simply for pleasure.

You’ll leave with:
– A garden-style arrangement you’ve created
– Practical tools for photographing flowers at home
– Confidence working with natural light
– Time for questions and one-on-one guidance

No professional camera required — iPhones are welcome.

Materials

Romantic spring flowers, perfect for photographing - peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and more.

Transforming a Space with Flower Shepherd

Transforming a Space with Flower Shepherd

A larger-scale workshop for those wanting to explore movement, impact, and how flowers shape a space.

Working with early summer abundance, we’ll focus on creating floral work with presence — considering scale, line, and rhythm as we design. This session offers a chance to see how Braiden of Flower Shepherd approaches a space: how she reads the surroundings, chooses focal points, and builds arrangements that feel natural yet striking.

Participants will work collaboratively on slightly larger, looser designs than in our Field Workshops, with guidance from both Molly and Braiden throughout the process. We’ll talk through mechanics, proportion, and the small decisions that help a design feel intentional and alive.

Once everything is in place, we’ll pause to enjoy the space we’ve created together — with festive drinks and a few simple seasonal treats.
